Tips to keep cool this summer
Ayurveda teaches us that like increases like. Pitta is hot, sharp, and light like the penetrating heat of the midday sun. To reduce the effects of an aggravated Pitta dosha, try the following:
Stay Cool, Calm and Hydrated
Signs of increase in Pitta dosha might be aggravation, irritability, anger, judgment, or impatience. You may also experience inflammation, rash, diarrhea, heartburn/acid reflux, or even stomach ulcers.
Check with your healthcare provider to rule out any serious issues and ask him/her about trying these suggestions.
Have a fabulous summer!
